In episode 02 of Mahabharat aired on 17th September 2013,
Bhishma saves Vichitravirya
Bhishma
takes an oath that he will step down from the throne, so that Satyavati
can stay with Shantanu.
Shantanu repents about the same and blesses
Bhishma with powers. Later Vichitravirya is captured by the King of
Panchal, for his misdeeds.
Bhishma saves Vichitravirya from the King of
Panchal. Queen Amba burns a field that comes in her way. Bhishma
punishes Vichitravirya for his misdeeds but Satyavati interferes.

Krishna teaches a few human values.
